How can a Vpn help protect you against identity theft?

Identity theft occurs when thieves steal your personal information and use it to commit crimes in your name — like taking over or opening new accounts, filing tax returns in your name, or renting or buying property. A VPN can help protect against identity theft by helping protect your data. It creates an encrypted tunnel for the data you send and receive that’s out of reach of cyberthieves.

If your computer,Tablet,tv device,or smartphone’s Wi-Fi is enabled at all times, your device could be vulnerable without you ever knowing it. Everyday activities like online shopping, banking and browsing can expose your information, making you vulnerable to cybercrime.

A VPN can protect the information you share or access using your devices. That’s especially important when using a public Wi-Fi network, where a cyberthief on the same network could capture your login credentials and the credit card number you type in when you shop online.

You can’t prevent identity theft. No one can. Some security aspects — like a data breach at an organization where you have an account — are out of your control. But a VPN can help safeguard the information you send from and receive on your devices.

Do we keep any Logs?

No of course not we take no logs at all at Vpn Shop, all we can see is your ip, which vpn server you are connected too and how much data you have used whilst connected for monitoring purposes only. No browsing history, passwords, or anything other than what is mentioned above is stored anywhere with Vpn Shop. No third parties have access to any of your data so you can feel confident in using Vpn Shop to keep you safe and secure whilst browsing online.

How to find the best server?

Android / Amazon

Once logged in to the app, if you press the 3 lines on top left to show our vpn servers, you will see a loading circle appear near the top. On app launch this auto populates our servers by ping order. It sends a small signal to the vpn servers and returns a success response and this will give a result in ping, for example 22ms. The lower the ping the faster the signal response was recieved.

So any of the servers in the top 10 should give you the best results for your individual location.

You can refresh the list ping response at any time by clicking the button sort by ping.

Windows

Once logged in the app, at the bottom of the server list there is a ping button, if you press the button it will sort the servers in ping order.

The lower the ping the faster the signal response was recieved.

So any of the servers in the top 10 should give you the best results for your individual location.

You can refresh the list ping response at any time by clicking the button sort by ping.

Keep in mind that this is to assist in selecting the best server for you, if you get a result of 0ms then this will be at the top of the list, this doesnt mean its the fastest, it means at that time of sending a signal it didnt recieve a ping response so therefore a failed result so skip to the next server or refresh by pressing the ping button.
